Hmm, two months after my last geek blog entry. Though, my geek life wasn't in rest. I worked a lot with Solaris 10, espcially with zones and resources managements. I was in Solaris 10 WorkShop, where I saw a dtrace slideshow. It was very interesting, really. I'll write few dtrace scripts, and put it on my website, sure.
Pfff, after lot of hours lost with IPSec, I'm happy about my script which compute static html files from the dokuwiki. Except the comments problem, it's better for security and performances purposes.
These last days was interesting for my Solaris life. I post a message to comp.unix.solaris about a problem in IPSec docs. Someone from Sun answer me via mail and tells me he made the change. Anyway, at this time, I still hate IPsec, especially the interoperability between differents OS and implementations. The racoon (part of ipsec-tools) port for linux seem to be a piece of shit. At this time, I m'not able to setup IPSec as transport mode for two linux (debian sid with 2.6.9/2.6.11 kernels) inside the same LAN. The IPsec seem to be ok, I can send/receive few pings, but no more. I can't even do a telnet connexion, really sucks.
